Public Health Systems & Infrastructure Subawards: this opportunity, funded by the Centers for Disease Control & Prevention (CDC) through GPTEC’s Public Health Infrastructure Cooperative Agreement, supports projects that develop or increase systems, infrastructure, and/or capacity to conduct core public health functions, including but not limited to collecting and monitoring data on health status objectives, evaluating delivery and data systems that impact tribal health, and/or undertaking health promotion and disease prevention activities. Up to (3) awards are available at $20,000 per award under this opportunity.GPTEC Systems & Infrastructure Request for Applications
Behavioral Health Promotion/Prevention Subawards: this opportunity, funded by the National Institutes of Minority Health & Health Disparities through GPTEC’s Indian Health Service Cooperative Agreement, supports projects that contribute to the promotion of behavioral health and the prevention of substance abuse and adverse mental health outcomes in the Great Plains Area. Up to (2) awards are available at $15,000 per award under this opportunity.GPTEC Behavioral Health Request for Applications
Funding opportunities are available for eligible tribes, tribal programs, health care facilities serving tribes or tribal members, tribal non-profit organizations, or other non-profit organizations serving American Indians in the four-state Great Plains region (North Dakota, South Dakota, Iowa, and Nebraska).
Subawardees will have the opportunity to prepare a final report presentation for a Tribal Public Health Roundtable tentatively scheduled for September to showcase the activities and impacts of projects completed.
