What to do if you are feeling sick?

Take steps to protect others.

If you are sick:

  • Stay home and isolate as much as possible
  • Wear a face mask when around others
  • Cover your cough or sneeze with a tissue, then throw the tissue in the trash
  • Clean your hands often by washing or using hand sanitizer
  • Clean and disinfect frequently touched objects and surfaces, and avoid sharing personal household items
  • Keep an eye on your symptoms
  • If visiting your health provider or seeking care, call ahead
